Insanity: Complete!

Last week was my final week of a major work project, and I ended up working crazy hours and totally slacking on workouts – basically only did one the whole week! What a bummer. On Monday, I was debating whether to “make up” the last week or just take my Fit Test and be done, but I ultimately decided to just do the latter. Weekend Fitventures

As you saw in yesterday’s post, this weekend I really did my best to get back on track, fitness-wise. I’ve been progressing right along with Insanity, and last week I started the brutal month #2 (seriously, it makes month #1 look like a playground game for kids). Oh what a day

Monday was crazy busy again – maybe not quite as bad as last week, but still swamped. To make things worse, on Sunday night I started coming down with a sore throat. It’s been getting progressively worse as the week goes on, until today my boss made the decision to send me home and have me work from there. Catching up on the week

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a week since I last posted! My new project is crazy busy and has barely afforded me adequate time to sleep and work out, let alone blog about it, but here’s the recap of what you missed: Monday, I had to be out of the house by 4:45am for my 6am flight to Dallas (and that was pushing it). Insanity update

Yesterday was supposed to be my Insanity Fit Test #2. (You’ll remember I did Fit Test #1 back about a month ago, two weeks before I even started the real program). I woke up crazy sore after Sunday’s marathon, mostly feeling it in my left knee, so I had no idea how I was going to get back to my regular schedule. Three days off felt like a lifetime!
