International Supahstah!

This weekend, I got some pretty exciting news. In a few weeks, I am going to Warsaw with my Dad to visit my family there, and they are extremely proud of my marathon accomplishments. Turns out, my Dad’s best friend in Warsaw is very well-connected, and mentioned it to one of his friends, who is a journalist. Next thing I heard, the Polish affiliate of NBC (like, the one that airs nationwide in Poland) wants to do a story on {Read More}

Still pondering my next big goal

Yesterday, my counselor (kind of like a boss for those of you not in consulting, except you never work with them – they just aggregate feedback from everyone you do work with and then put together your annual performance evaluation) was on a plane and catching up on her industry reading. Okay, not that this weekend constituted “good days.” I mean, they were fantastic days from a fun perspective, and from a Mexican perspective as well… but not so much from a diet standpoint. Saturday afternoon, I went to Mexican brunch with my book club, then went for Mexican dinner with my college girlfriends, then went to a dive bar {Read More}

Interview #1: New York Nightly News with Chuck Scarborough

Last night, my world record breaking self appeared on New York Nightly News with Chuck Scarborough. It was a crazy experience! The show was from 7:00pm-8:00pm, but I wasn’t going to be on until the last ten minutes, so I didn’t have to get there until 7pm. When I arrived, I was shown to the greenroom, told that the makeup room was next door, and that someone would come get me when it was time to go on. No more {Read More}
