This weekend, I got some pretty exciting news. In a few weeks, I am going to Warsaw with my Dad to visit my family there, and they are extremely proud of my marathon accomplishments. Turns out, my Dad’s best friend in Warsaw is very well-connected, and mentioned it to one of his friends, who is a journalist. Still pondering my next big goal

Yesterday, my counselor (kind of like a boss for those of you not in consulting, except you never work with them – they just aggregate feedback from everyone you do work with and then put together your annual performance evaluation) was on a plane and catching up on her industry reading. She specializes in customer experience, so happened to be reading Colloquy magazine, which is about building loyalty. Oh yes, I’m here, just busy. I ran the Wall Street Run last week and have quite a story to tell there… but am optimistically hoping I’ll have time to write it up as an official race report and post it. No guarantees though – you all know I’m terrible about that. I’m currently wrapping up my project in NYC and will soon be shipping out to Dallas for at least the next few months – yes, back to the days of hotel cooking, water bottle weights, and trying to avoid the Consulting 15. Back on the Wagon

Sorry for the six day disappearance – it would seem that I never get around to posting on my good days. Okay, not that this weekend constituted “good days.” I mean, they were fantastic days from a fun perspective, and from a Mexican perspective as well… but not so much from a diet standpoint.
